GH SCHOOLS AT 10 – HURRAY!!!

This year marks a significant milestone for GH Schools as we celebrate 10 years of impactful education. What began as a vision to create a transformative space for media education has grown into a leading institution shaping the future of creative industries in Ghana.

GH Media School was founded by Mr. Leslie Addo-Listowell, under the mother company “Media Tribe Studio 233,” a multimedia company dedicated to the production of branded and non-branded content for TV stations across the country. With this foundation, the school opened its doors in March 2014, welcoming its first batch of 37 students with three lecturers.

Our journey began with two departments; Broadcast Journalism and Television & Film Production but over the past decade, we’ve expanded to offer a rich diversity of courses. Today, GH Media School boasts four dynamic departments: Journalism and Media Studies, Television and Film Production, Journalism and Media Arts, and Multimedia Production, each fostering creativity and technical expertise.

In addition to the Media School, our institution has grown to include four other schools:

GH Cosmetology School

GH Fashion School

GH Catering School

GH Technology School

Over the past 10 years, GH Schools has had a profound impact on countless students, empowering them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in the media, fashion, cosmetology, catering, and technology industries. Our alumni are thriving across various sectors, both in Ghana and internationally, a testament to the school’s commitment to excellence and innovation in education.

As we look back on a decade of achievements, we also look forward to the future with a renewed commitment to pushing boundaries, nurturing talents, and staying at the forefront of impactful education. This milestone is a celebration of not only where we’ve come from but also where we are headed.
